The Canadian National Supermoto Series kicks off this weekend at Shannonville Motorsports Park along with round #2 of the R.A.C.E. Provincial Series. This weekends races are on the smaller Supermoto track. Saturday practice runs from 12-8 and is open to all riders and you don't even need a race license to come out and give supermoto a try, so is you're thinking about it, do it! Fast Freddie also suggested we have a fun endurance team race at the end of practice. He's even putting up a case of beer for the winning team! This may make things interesting...
I'm really looking forward to getting back onto the Supermoto track. Its a ton of fun and I like the dirt sections. Races kick off around noon so come out and check it out. Spectator entry is cheap. The weather looks like it will be good all weekend which is always a good thing. Hopefully I can keep the rubber side down and get the results that I'm capable of.
Check back early next week for race updates and of course the helmet cam videos.
